On the morning of September 10, 2019, accompanied by the Silk Road Business School, the “Resource-Based Region Transformation and Upgrading Research Group” of the Chinese Academy of Engineering visited Metz. The research groupfirst came to the Inspire-Metz which is an Economic Promotion Agency in the eastern region of France. After that, the research team went to BLIIIDA incubator，a well-known French incubator. Then the group came to the Technopôle Metz，a Technology Cluster，and the Ecole Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Metz (ENIM，Metz National Institute of Engineers).
In the afternoon of September 10, a the delegation visited Strasbourg and held a special seminar with the Alsace Economic Development Agency. The conference was organized around the “transition of industrial cities or resource-based cities in France”
