On the morning of September 16, 2019, accompanied by the Silk Road School of Business, the research group of the Department of Revitalization, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), visited Metz with the theme “industrial transformation and upgrading of old industrial cities and resource-based cities”. Professor Claude DEVOIR, French environmental and energy expert, and Thomas PIGNON, director of INSPIRE METZ , received the team.
In the afternoon, the group inspected le site de Micheville, one of the Opération d’Intérêt National (OIN) national reconstruction projects supported by the French Ministry of Ecology and Energy, and Mr. Le Laboratoire Yannick ROTH, a special representative of the municipal government and the person in charge of project reconstruction, received the project group.
